I have a wild idea: take the vtracs that the previous drawings put off, tear apart the numbers, and recombine them to see if the next drawings are there. For example: if a previous drawing throws off a 28 and a 36, then add the 2 + 8 to get 10, and take the 0 of the ten and combine it with the 3 to make 30.

OK, clearly I have missed something with Vtracs for PB.

I understand how Vtrac works (or as least I think I do) for the Pick 3 and 4 games. However, now that I have read the Vtrac groupings for PB, I am a bit confused. I was trying to set something up in Excel, and wanted to get clarification of what I am reading to the correct applications of this with PB. See the questions below the numbers

(Numbers below from a prior posting)

v1 = 0 or 5

v2 = 1 or 6

Well, we got 2 of 5 for starters. I figured out how to sort Lottery Post's Powerball history page down to just the white ball numbers for the program.

I noticed all the right digits are high. x9-x8-x9-x8-x7 wow. That's pretty strange.

I suspect the 09 and/or 19 will come back. It's been awhile for them, and all things being equal, they might need to show again soon, or there may be a ripple in the force... lol...

Those lines aren't sorted according to any Vtrac scheme just yet. Right now, I'm trying to determine some sort of cycle period where 85 to 100 percent of the total numbers of balls show up, and how to capitalize on the missing balls toward the end of such a cycle if it even exists.

This is going to take alot of patience as far as sticking with the same lines for several draws. Maybe 4 draws for starters.

I think the vtrac 13/31 will return within the next two draws..

vtrac 35 within the next two draws along with vtrac 34 or vtrac 44

I look at what played the last ten draws and what happened in previous years when it was drawn that way.. I don't necessarily count the frequency of the vtracs. I could be going about this wrong.. but telling me that vtrac pair 31 hit x amount time doesn't ring any thing in the brain for me..

I look to see which vtrac pairs show together... in box form...

I did the same to watch the movements of the vtracs. Sometimes charting things like that open up a new way of seeing things.. Good luck with viewing and keep use informed.

Maybe Steve can add a feature to the program that would produce st/ or box vtracs..

I have noticed that once vt 31 hits several times.. the 13 comes in sometimes with the 31 so playing the box options gets me closer to the ball park.

Yes, I did a Chart for both Str8 & Box Vtracs:

I'm trying to keep the numbers to wheel to 15 or less, which is tough to do when 1/3 of the box vtacs have 5 numbers in them and I want to use 4 or 5 vtracs to select the numbers to wheel.

Have you done a chart of both,

One with box form..

The other with st...

I have and noticed that a vtrac repeats, but in boxed form..

Right now I am only getting 2 or 3 numbers per line.. Just barely enough to play for free each draw..

With the straight vtrac, I was having to play too many numbers to break even.. or I was chosing the wrong position.

No rush.. The Powerball isn't going anywhere

For those who are interested in making their own chart do this:

Take some graph paper...

At top list your vtrac numbers..

11 12 13 14 15 22 23 24 25 33 34 35 44 45 55

Then take the last year's draw of powerball and chart the white balls only..

you will get the picture there of the patterns... and will never look at powerball playing the same way anymore..

Yes, selecting 5 Vtracs and wheeling all possibles can be done, but incorporating the low/medium/high filter at the same time would be excellent and reduce the picks too.

I think your low/meduim/high applies well to most draws.

OK.. WHEELING... unable to use Todd's wheel with is method..

Why? Because if you are looking for 5 different vtrac numbers for white balls, you wouldn't/couldn't enter them all in the wheeling because it would double a vtrac on you..

It would take too long to individually set up different wheels leaving room for error.

If the new program could be program to grab one from the vtrac string to the draw ...etc.

hope that makes sense..

Ok. What I am noticing with the chart that I made that I cannot share due to the tree thingy, is that vtrac repeat with skips.. This would narrow down the choices.. Another thing, suppose vtrac 14 hit one draw back. One of the numbers under it will come out, and a neighboring number from one side or the other will come. That gives you two to work with.. sometimes the skips will happen between two numbers and the neighboring number will come as a couple with the vtracs... ex.. 04/54 which s... [ More ]

Okay, so there's only 15 Vtracs. That's better than having to work with 25 of them like I had. The program's wheel's would have to be extended, I think, though. Maybe from 11 up to 24 numbers.

I have come up with a vtrac chart which would be great to make into a program.

each number in the white balls... 01-55 are assigned under the vtrac number for that number...

example..

for the number 45.. white ball

you would write it under the 15 vtrac...

Then you list all of them in a chart form.

I have taken another chart and list the vtracs that appeared... and then out beside it I listed the vtrac root.
