i like to use the brown mouthwash such as listerine .

gargle around the sore tooth serveral times.repeat as needed. hope you are feeling better

Sorry so late, I have been in town.

First ....Midol for swelling and ground cloves for pain if you cannot get to the dentist. Poor child, I know that pain. Those work if you do not have a bad abcess.

Of the teeth numbers I would look for a 9 number because of the severe pain.

Seriously bad toothache. I know there have been lots of toothy posts so I'm backtracking (thanks SpookySoozy especially). Just rang my bell (in addition to all the other pain) that I needed to ask here even though it's late in the morning already.

Simple, pain, toothache, misery.... Thanks.
