Sounds good...too bad I can't subscribe by mail.

Michigan should do that or just lower the odds and up the tickets to $2. Just before Michigan joined the MM it would take 12 draws to get the 6/xx games up to about $45,000,000. Now it has taken 206 days and the Jackpot isn't even at $19,000,000 yet.

If Michigan would do something similar I would stop playing the Mega Millions except maybe when it was between 100 and 200 million.

Thanks for the information, Jimmy. Wow! This is sooooooo very wrong. More than 90% of the time only 1 person wins the jackpot. Wed it was $18 million. The last big jackpot was won by 2 people and was $47 million. Nothing wrong with splitting that! I'm not sure I've ever seen 2 or more people win the $3 million jackpot. The new feature is simple. If you play $1, you play for the jackpot. If you play $2, you play for the jackpot plus $10,000,000. And if you play $3, you play for the jackpot plus $25,000,000.

Frankly, I can't see this really catching on in the long haul, because 22,957,479 times out of 22,957,480, that extra money will go to waste, as it does nothing to the lower tiers, or add new prize levels.
