A lottery rep inside a store once explained to me how the auditors or ball pickers would run several tests on the balls prior to drawing the actual picks in order to ensure none of the balls were fixed (e.g. lead paint like they did in Pennsylvania some years back to effect the outcome).

My question is:

Is there a set amount of times they test the balls ?

And if so , how many?

thanks
