IF you dont like it when many numbers repeat like that then buy another $1 so that you have your 5 different sets, thats all.

The annoyance would be buying a $5 QP with two of the same combination that won nothing. I'm should it wouldn't be an annoyance it that combination won some money twice on one ticket. Most players are annoyed when their combinations win nothing regardless of the numbers.

I agree. However, I would still be annoyed to find out that the $5 dollar quick pick I just bought, contained two of the same lines.

I had never seen 2 identical QPs on the same ticket before this one. It is possible it was random but I think it was probably a glitch, especially since they were right next to each other on the ticket.

The ticket was for last Friday (2-1-08) and it did have a 2-number match on line C which got a free ticket when cashed in.

The odds of that happening is about the same as picking the winning combination which proves when dealing with randomly picked QPs, almost anything can happen.

Very strange. Perhaps one of our mathematical people could tell us what the odds are of a RNG generating the same five numbers two lines in a row. ???? They must be astronomical

I'm not sure about fantasy five but.....

I remember reading about this guy who had 2 identical number strands on the same ticket.

they only paid him half the jackpot.

another bright side of the box...if four of the five show up....he will be able to cash them both in.

I have a $5 Florida Lottery Fantasy 5 ticket, all 5 Quick Picks as follows:

02 - 14 - 20 - 27 - 31

02 - 14 - 20 - 27 - 31

11 - 19 - 30 - 32 - 35

02 - 16 - 17 - 21 - 22

24 - 29 - 30 - 33 - 34

Notice the first 2 Quick Picks are identical...so much for complete randomness on each Quick Pick.
