If you want to increase your chances of winning 50% buy 50% more tickets. If you buy 2 tickets in a 6/49 game your chances of winning the jackpot are 2/13,983,816. If you buy another ticket your chances are increased to 3/13,983,816 or 50% better, guaranteed.
