I purchased a $2 Lotto Quick Pick for the Sept. 29 drawing. The next day, I bought a second one for the same drawing. After the Lotto drawing, I checked my tickets.

I sincerely hope you and everyone here on the LP who is hoping to hit the big one gets to have that dream come true. Really I do.

I'm a realist and think that the odds are rediculously high. For every person who wins a JP, multitudes lose. That's just me. I know a negative attitude is bad for karma so I'll leave it at that.

Personally, I'm ahead of the game playing the p-3, and loving it. I do occasionally play for the big one, but I know that the odds are the reality.

you are right but the second option is not a wise choice because PEOPLE play jackpot games in order to win BIG amounts of money (usually 100,000 and up)...i have hit 4 numbers, 3 number etc..multiple times and won at least something...so what..$400 bucks is nice but people are after big sums...we want life changig amounts...there is pick 3 games with much better odds for winning $100 bucks...

all lines are original lines and i understand what you mean but if i were to do a poll i bet you tha... [ More ]

There are two ways to look at this.

First, You can keep playing original lines that probably won't hit in your lifetime.

Second, you can play the intervals like the examples mentioned and atleast win something even though you might have to share.

dont play any of them because a lot of people play that way...first of it is hard to hit combos like that to begin with (it could happen) but highly likely you will split money with someone else as demostrated above....Why do people play like this?: (1-2-3-4-5 or 10-20-30-40-50 or 2-4-6-8-10 or 7-17-27-37-47 and similar)

I dont know why but the FACTs are that a lot of people do that repeatedly so very likely you will split money...Also why do a lot of people play triples repeatedly on PICK 3

One winner<<<>>>Multiple times

Thurs., Jan. 20, 2005 Archie Herring of Seattle just missed winning this week s huge $130 million Mega Millions lottery jackpot, correctly guessing five of the six numbers drawn but missing the all-important Mega Ball number. Herring, 68, played his five-number combination on 10 separate tickets, each one good for a second prize of $175,000, or a total of $1.75 million.

This week he played his combination 10 times because of the unusually large jackpot.
