Just so you know, both the start of ticket sales and the drawing date are posted on the Lottery Post Event Calendar.

Louisiana started it's $1 million raffle yesterday. They're selling 300,000 tickets and as of 8PM 02/19/08, They've sold around 45,000 tickets. Not bad for the first day. They're updating the website every hour with how many are left, it's amazing to me how many they've sold. I also spent $500 on car repairs that day, it would be nice if I won
