I'd buy a motorhome with a garage in the back and travel.Whenever I heard of a natural disaster somewhere in the United States,I would pull into the nearest Wal-Mart and buy every blanket they had and then I would fill the garage of the motorhome with things that displaced people need,toiletries,medicines,etc.Then I would drive to the disaster area and start passing out this stuff to those in need.When the garage becomes empty I would drive to another Wal-Mart and refill it and either drive back... I'd probably spend the first few years traveling the world. I'd live in my countries of choice for 3-6 months, that way I get to experience the culture and try all the nummy food. Probably also make sure I was always in a warm place. Snow is bad when you have to deal with it for months on end. Any charity money I gave out would be anonymously and I would give it directly to places/people I knew needed it or would put it to the best use.

This may sound stupid but even if I don't win, at least I had the money to play. Yesterday I saw a woman who did not even have a dollar left to buy a Mega Millions ticket once she filled up her car with gas!!! So charity would be one of the areas my financial guys would be required to budget into my How would I spend it list, not to mention debt elimination, big new home, nice car, college fund for kids, vacations and most in importantly the sign that says RETIRED

I guess I am greedy. I would share some with my family. Then I would get the you know what out of the city and state that I live in. I would do a lot of travel. Not so sure I would give any to charitys or to local schools. My self and my husband and my kids would be quite happy for many, many, many years. You would not see me on one of those Curse of Lottery shows either. It is called good investments and you could live off the interest alone. But I would make sure that I have a seperate account... Being a child of the 70s (high school years) I seem to remember the drug scene that I was exposed to back then. I don't know what the draw is to the drugs of this age (meth and crack) but I am thankful that I do not have that monkey on my back.

I would make sure the family and kids are taken care of for the rest of their lives. Full college accounts for the kids, trust accounts for each to aide them in later life, new home for the family and new vehicles. Would consider hiring a tutor for the... [ More ]

Oh, I'd probably start with lap band surgery and some nip/tucking of the excess afterwards.

I do plan on a lifestyle change....nothing wild and crazy, nor too pretentious. Just..more leisure, less stress over paying bills, traveling, and just being comfortable.

Hubby would follow the Red Sox... I would follow him.. lol

Then spend lots on my parents, grandchildren, and children.

I would do lots of improvements over our county schools.

I hear ya TSC,

This sounds like it may be yet another story for The E! channels THS The Curse of the lottery. God knows I can think of alot more productive things than getting high all day. Remember that lady (I forgot her name) that took half of her husbands winnings, about $8million then quit her nursing job and did nothing but get high on crack and meth all day. She got into a car accident that killed one of her friends and paralyzed the other. She is now serving 7 years in the pen.
