USAMega announces the status a long time before Powerball site. Why go some where else to get what is already here? USAMega had the $230M annuity annoucement an hour before the Powerball site.

They haven't announced what the new matrix will be. Typically new changes occur during the summer. The biggest proposed change I saw was a $1M second prize level if Powerplay is purchased. So they may be considering dumping the current Powerplay system but it's all speculation now.

I have to factor the price of gas into my tickets and considering that I'll wait. If it does roll on Saturday I think this is the largest Powerball jackpot until the matrix changes.

There was no jackpot winner in the Wednesday Powerball drawing, but 12 lucky players matched the first 5 numbers for a $200,000 prize: 2 from Idaho (1 with Power Play), 1 from Indiana, 1 from Kentucky, 1 from Nebraska, 1 from New Hampshire, 1 from Oregon, 2 from Pennsylvania, 1 from South Dakota, 1 from Tennessee and 1 from Wisconsin.

nobody won jackpot tonight!...

saw the 200 million message on the powerball website and i said to myself ..here we go again ..the madness starts now for saturday's draw..

i also noticed in the states winners PA had 192,734 winners...amazing.. more than double the next closest state yet not jackpot for 3 years and counting...
