I have just started playing the cash 5 NC religiously in the last week, i usually spend about $10-$20 per draw every day, the best i have mustered up is 3/5. I use a combination of QP, set #'s, and some very interesting fortune cookie #'s . Yeah, last time you hit Downanddirty it was for a nice piece of change over $700.00 and that's because noone hit the Jackpot. I notice that for other states the Jackpot for four numbers is set. Some for only $100.00!!!! What a joke!! Congrats as always

I'm not sure what the point of your last post is Coin Toss. I usually hit the 4 of 5 one or two times a month. With all the money I spend (along with hours of analysis...time is money too) to get those wins, I figure I pretty much break even. Thats OK. One 5 of 5 could change all that.

I'm fortunate that a 4 of 5 usually pays between $275-$800 in NY. However, I maintain that the NY Pick 5 is ridiculously hard and confounding. You need to be on your game and/or lucky to even get 3 of 5.

What in the world does 4/5 pay in New York? Here it's usually around $100. You'd have to win everyday to be making a living. 5/6 in Lotto pays $5,000 or better, but I've never gotten 5 numbers in Lotto. I've gotten 4/5 a few times in Fantasy 5. In fact, I signed on today to post that I got 4/5 last night. I don't know how anyone can say winning a pick-5 is easy since the odds (at least for FL) are over 1 in 376K.

no, i just mess around on paper with the pick 5 games. I rarley play for real, but when i do i don't do to bad. I stick to pick 3 games the most. Easier money with that game.

Pick 5 is the game I play everyday, $1 or $2 a drawing- I've occassionally hit 2/5 (pays $1) and once in a blue moon 3/5 (pays $10), but never yet 4/5 or 5/5 for a jackpot.

catsrule, I have to ask if you're talking about picking up $100 a week or more live play, or hitting this on paper , hitting that often sounds awful strong.

I dont' think it's easy at all if you're talking about hitting the jackpot. No way! Picking 2 or 3 numbers is somewhat easier but no way it's easy. Of course as ThatScaryChick said, the more numbers the harder it gets. If I had to choose between playing Pick 5 or Mega it would be Pick 5 hands down. Mega only tears what spirit you have left after playing for so long and almost never winning 3 numbers.

The p5 games I have run through my works-in-progress show hot/cold streaks. P5 also shows a sensitive dependence to initial conditions i.e. small changes in the intputs create a large change in the outputs.

There are ~7 RMB to the USDollar ... and falling.

I had a feeling that I might need to clarify my statements.

If you read the thread up to that point my interpretation of the discussion had turned to winning a volume of 4 of 5 wins (2nd place). If you read the posts by Hans and Jackpot they mention odds and attemtps to win 4 of 5 prizes as being part of the plan.

This was my mindset about having to go to different stores to collect frequent (say $300-$500) prizes. Just think what two or three of those would do for your weekly income?(and

Well. I think that person would be smart enough to bounce around to different lotto retailers in they're region....as to not draw attention to themselves.

Claims over $5000 must be made at a regional office and you need a photo ID and SS number so even if you bounce all over the state, the lottery will know who you are.

I don't know how annoying you would become to a single retailer (showing up every day or two to collect hundreds).

one doesnt neccesarily have to go around to play or collect winnings in lotto...if you happened to win multiple times its all luck...i got three 4/5 in cash 5 in january and cashed em at the same store i go every time...so what if they noticed me winning often during that week...its a random game and i got very lucky during that period...maybe what you really trying to say here is go around so they dont notice you lose so often....+ no one will regularly win in lotto games...just brief lucky str... In usual Pick5 Lottery,when you pick up six last digital numbers from 0 to 9,and can still covers all drawn last digits,the chance to get 4 wining numbers in three 14 numbers is 80%.The chance of the other winning numbers coming out of 8 numbers is 80%.

So by playing 143*24=3000 abount tickets,the chance of a jackpot success is 24%.That means you at least need

Last night 8 people won 5,786 RMB

Night before 5 won 22, 502RMB

3-15 5 won 18,799RMB

3-16 5 won 18,674RMB

3-17 2 won 53,117RMB

As you can see it's not alot of money but if you live here it's a nice piece of change considering most people here in Kunming make from 500RMB to maybe 3,000RMB a month!!!! I don't know what the dollar to RMB conversion is right now. 5,000 RMB is about 700 Dollars I think. Not sure though.

I am sure the lotto office could confirm that by showing the same persons winning frequently. I'd like to get ahold of that info.

If such a person existed, your local retailer would probably have that information. It would be hard to not notice the same person cashing in winning tickets all the time. It's unlikely such a person would be going to a different retailer every time he played.

Like any lotto games, the more time you put in to analysis (as well as reckless abandon of all logic in number selection) and the more numbers you play, I think the better your odds.

Combine that with luck and intuition and you will have your share of wins.

I usually am right on with my forecasts. The only time I am wrong is when a very unlikely drawing occurs (such as when a given number repeats 3 nights in a row for...example).

You have to have 14 numbers with 4,and with one other banker out of N-14 Numbers,you can predict a pick5 jackpot with 36% success ratio in 134 tickets.

The hard part is how to get numbers right,specially for the bankers.

Ohio Rolling Cash5 (5/39) overall odds of winning are 1:9, so buying $10 worth of tickets will most likely win something (a match 2 pays $1). Winning something every time he spends $10 can make a player thinks it's easy to match 3 for $10 and at worst break even. The state knows every player want to win something and it's happy to exchange $10 or $1.
