No too bad. Too bad it's not 2 games for a dollar. I ususally play 5 lines and sometimes 8. I'm also on a strict budget. Anyway, Good luck! Hope you hit that 5 0f 5.

I usually play about 20 lines on average. I try to stick to a budget. In most cases, I figure that is excessive but I work very hard to develop the numbers I play and for that reason, I semi-justify the expenditure.

To answer a previous response, no I am not just wheeling. That is not what I attribute my success thus far to. I am not a fan of wheeling. Locking yourself in to 12 numbers (for example) is not the best way to go....for me anyway.

Game I played:

3-4-12-29-34

Not as close as last time.....but a little concilation prize and a bit of encouragement. I knew 15 was gonna pop too..but put it in to other selections. Another situation were some wheeling funds would have perhaps helped.

congrats on getting 4 correct...however it is not as close as one might think...the odds speak for themselves 4/5 is 1:3489 but 5/5 is 1:575,757...i hit 4/5 on three different occassions on PA cash 5 in january (back before feb when they had 5/39 format same as NY)...i later realized that even though it looks close it is not that close....i mean one could have any 4 balls combo for that draw: say 1-8-15-19-26...2-8-15-19-26..3-8-15-19-26....5-8-15-19-26...OR 4-5-15-19-26...4-6-15-19-26...OR 4-8

New york payouts vary draw to draw. According to their website this draw 4-8-15-19-26 paid $323.00 for 4 of 5. I got 4 of 5 last year that paid either $860 or $960 I dont quite remember. The amount depends on how many first and second place winners there are for the draw. I think they refer to this as pari-mutual?

Either way it was a nice tidy sum and congrats on the win DownandDirty . if you have a method that picked these I say stick with it - might give you all of them.

Should I be encouraged that I have a system/method that has me on the right track? I mean.....I expected/forecasted all these numbers. Unfortunately I also felt that the number 10 was also due. I didnt anticipate the 4-8
