When Comcast goes out here, it's more like a day. Atleast they give you credit. Like 50 cents.

I tell clients on the 24/7 systems (all of them), if you do the math it is up 99.99999999% of the time. Some might run continuously for years with zero down time and the moment you think: I haven't heard from them in over a year..........? Murphy comes to town.

I'm sure many of you were wondering why Lottery Post was offline for about an hour and a half.

The cause was a wide-area network outage with the provider servicing the data center in which Lottery Post is housed.

So you can relate, if you get your personal internet connection through Comcast, it's like Comcast stops providing you access for an hour and a half. It's the same kind of thing, but on a much larger scale.
