Yes. For 30 day months, whichever day of the week the 1st and 2nd days fall on will happen 5 times, so if the 1st is either of the MM days both games will have 9 drawings, with the 30th being the 9th PB day. For months with 31 days there will also be 9 of each if the 1st day is the day before a MM day.

I just eyeballed a calendar real quick, I was basing it on Fifth Sunday and going from there.

Any months where they both have 9 drawings

fja is right. A year has 52 weeks, so MM and PB will each have 104 drawings per year. February will always have 8 PB and MM drawings, except in leap years where the extra day happens to be a drawing day. That leaves 96 drawings for the other 11 months. There will be at least 8 drawings in each month, accounting for 88 of the 96. That leave another 8 drawings, so 8 of those 11 months will have a 9th drawing. Actually, it's the opposite...most months have 9 draws each...last 3 months

MM=9/9/8

PB=9/8/9

The rest of the months should fall under the same pattern as above...

Most months have 8 Tuesdays and Fridays (Mega Millions) or

8 Wednesdays and Satrudays (Powerball). As of now, that's when they're drawn.

So why not when there's a 9th drawing of the month for either one of them, play 9 as the MM # or PB#?

QP the top matrix, or load it with 9's - 9 19 29, etc...

Just a thought.
