I check my tickets via the internet on USA MEGA or LP to see what the numbers are as soon as I can get to a computer which is normally a couple of hours after the drawings.

Usually, I check mine after work the next day... If it's big - I try to hold out as long as possible... avoiding all newspapers, news, etc. Then once I finally find out there's been a winner I'll break them out and check them - I know I know... it's like a ritual or something but not, PoGo

I don't live in the state I play in so I have to rely on the state website and sometimes it takes over an hour for the numbers to be put up....oh the agony...

I think I already posted here but oh well, I'll probably repeat myself.

It just depends on whether or not I'm awake, if I am I'll check right away and maybe even stay a couple more hours to see if someone else won if it wasn't me. I hate leaving things unanswered so I'll find out as so as I can.

It varies.

When playing my own systems I often check immediately. QPs I might check within two hours after the draw was publicized. It's more exciting when you play system or your own handpicked numbers.

I am not very consistent in check lottery result in the next day.

My rules: next couple day when no one is winning, and within a month when someone have already hit the jackpot.

When I play Pick- 4, I only play 1 or 2 combinations so when I check depends on what I'm doing because I only need to know which number hit and don't need to check the tickets. The 7:29 drawing results are usually posted on the website and on LP about a half hour later if I miss the TV drawing.

The Mega Millions drawing is at 11:00 PM but for some reason the live drawing is shown when the jackpot is over $100 million. We have a 10-spot keno style game that has a payout for matching zero or fi... [ More ]

I totally understand waiting and dreaming, cuz I justify buying these darned things as an entertainment cost, and the entertainment is being able to dream of riches.

However.... i get way too excited to wait any more than 5 minutes after the draw. I'm usually on the winning numbers page clicking refresh

I first check the next morning to find out if there is a jackpot winner. If there is one, I wait a few days day dreaming that I am that winner (I know, lame.) At least I THINK I have won for a few days. LOL. If there is no winner, I check them immediately.

If im up I check them right away, online. However, since the breakdown of winning tickets are not listed until the next morning, I try to wait to see if I won anything. CA will tell you the numbers right away, but you won't find out about any winners until the next morning.

On our trip and back to MI the week before Easter, I bought tickets everywhere we stopped for the big games.

I am using Todd's search drawings to see if they are winners since there are so many numbers.

I hit 3 white balls and Mega ball from Friday night's draw.

Not sure how we are going to collect.

It would be nice to mail the ticket to the little waitress that we had Red Lobster. She was super cool to us.

For the POWERBALL drawing on Wednesday night, I wait until sometime Thursday, usually after work, via INTERNET.

For the Saturday night drawing, I check sometime Sunday in the a.m., via INTERNET.

Finally, I decided not to check my tickets during lunch (while I am eating) -- because I did not want to either choke to death or have a heart attack because of the shock

I tape the drawing on TV then run it back and squeez off the winners..:)..Midday draw I have to look on the computer..I hsqueez off the winners there..It's simple..Just squeez and whala you have a winners..

I use to check them as soon as the drawing had taken place. But Mega Millions is so slow to post any jackpot hits that I gave that up fairly fast. I like to keep things consistant. If one lottery shows them fast, I believe the others should be able to also. But apparently that isn't the case.

I only check my MM tickets when I hear that the jackpot has been hit. Then, I take all the tickets I have saved up and scan them on the machine at the corner store. I collect all my 0+1, 1+1, 3+0, 2+1 and 3+1 winners (if any) then
