Yes, I do, considering my state does not have a lottery. I play PB and FL Lottery. If I visit in GA, I will play MM. I rarely go to Texas, but when I do, I play MM there. We need a MM state on the Gulf Coast.

Whenever I am driving through Indiana I'll get some Powerball tickets. But I don't make special trips out of state just to get lottery tickets. That's a little too nutty for my taste.

Whenever I go to South Carolina, I always like to try my luck with their Jumbo Bucks and other tickets.

When I went to Los Angeles to see The Price Is Right before Bob Barker retired (went March 2007), I tried out CA's lottery.

I've also tried out North Carolina's lottery when I go to see relatives.

The nearest state to me that has a lottery is Texas, which is approximately a 3 hour drive. However, I play other state's lotteries if I get the chance. My wife's family is in New York, so I play the NY lottery when we go there, which isn't often.

Years ago when I lived in Vancouver, Washington I used to occasionally buy tickets across the bridge in Oregon, as I went there frequently anyway. Now, however, I'm a three-hour drive from the border and have no other reason for going, so it isn't practical.

I live just 15 minutes south of the Wisconsin border in Illinois, so I used to play both MM in IL and PB in WI. Now I pass through IN quite a bit, so I buy my PB tickets there instead because you can pick the few numbers you feel strongly about and let the computer pick the remainder. Since I drive OTR, I will buy a ticket for PB/MM in other states as long as the jackpot is above $50 million. I go to the casinos in LA, when the jackpots are large I will play the Power ball. My friends are from Scotland, and I will play the National and Euro Lotto's when they go home to visit.

Yes, I play in two state lotteries on a regular basis as one state is a 45 mile drive and the other is PB about 89 miles. DOn't go that often to the longest distance, I utilize the advance play option for that.

I would travel to another state to pick up a prize that was big of course and I know some states allow you to get winnings for small prizes by mail, but I wouldn't spend a couple of hundred dollars to travel to a state to pick up a $10 prize.

How much do you has to win to make it worth the effort to go back and collect?

I know that some states do allow out of state players to download a form from their website and mail their tickets in for their winnings.

I only play in other states if I happen to be traveling in that area. Otherwise, I don't. I can't afford to cross the states lines just to play different types of lottery games.

I reside in mid-Ohio. I use to make the 115 mi. drive to an Indiana boarder town for PowerBall tickets when its jackpot was over $100M but with gas prices up I'm satisfied staying home and just playing the local games including MegaMillions.

I reside in Texas. I have a brother in Florida. I play FL Fan5 and C3 4 days per week.

I like the +/-$250,000 Fan5 jackpot, compared to maybe $30,000 for the Cash 5 game in Texas.

If we go to Missouri, Indiana, or Kentucky we play Powerball, advanced play for 10 or 14 draws (max. in Missouri if I remember right, not sure what the IN and KY maxes are), but we don't go just to play their lottery.

We'll play rhe PB advanced play and then maybe throw a couple of dollars at their Pick 6 and Show Me 5 Paydown.

In the Missouri you win $50,000, tax paid - the actual winnings are somewhere around $71,000 but you get $50 K.

yes i drive to virginia to play megamillions. i buy advanced drawing ( 26 is the most ). if the jackpot gets over $200 million I go back and get quick picks for a couple of drawings. only about 40 minutes to state line in virginia from where I live in NC
