California has pari-mutuel prize amounts for each prize level, as opposed to all other Mega Millions states which have the fixed prize amounts, which means they has to do a little more figuring than the other states before posting their final results.

Being in Ohio, I knew right away when I saw a 0+1 on my ticket I had won $2.

Okay, thanks. I really need to learn to not be so impatient.

I only got 2+0 last night. Right idea, wrong numbers. But I keep up with the statistics.

I see what you are talking about, but give it another hour because usually by 10:00am they have it posted. I hope you had some good numbers.

Let me understand this.

California knows they have 2 second tier prize winners, but they don't know how many other winners they have so they can't post any of their statistics.

That is the biggest bunch of bull I have ever heard in the lotto industry! They must think we (the general public) are idiots!

Someone please explain
