There are root sum and sum charts on here somewheres...I just use those. If I find them I will post them for you..

Ricky actually explained it pretty well

If 216 is your number, the sum is 9 ( 2+1+6= 9 )

A root is the sum of the individual digits that make up a sum.Any sum under 10 is a single digit sum, so if the sum of 216 is 9, the root of 216 will be the same exact number as the sum 9.In the case of any single digit sum, the sum is always the same as the root.

Using this as only an example lets say your number is 654 ( 6+5+4= 15 )so the sum of 654 is 15.

Hello Ricky, you might confuse this person. I believe you meant:

2 + 1 + 6 = 9

Hi pumpi76,

here's an example:

number 924

Sum = 9 + 2 + 4 = 15

LDR (or shortsum) = 5 ( -- from 15)

Root = 1 + 5 = 6

number 216

Sum = 2 + 1 = 6 = 9

LDR = 9

Root = 9
