I was going to spend some of it on the lottery (Powerball and MegaMillions) but got a little sidetracked when I had the chance on a house that I was looking at. So, instead of playing the lottery, I decided to use the stimulus check to fund the escrow for my purchase of a new home.

My motto is never count your chickens before the eggs hatch......but I did get a letter stating that my husband and I do qualify for the rebate.

I plan to use some to buy uniforms and supplies that I use on the job, so that I can claim it on my taxes next year. I hope that there will be enough left to pay a few bills and buy some food with.

All the stimulus money I get will be going into my lotto piggy bank.

The government should stop de-valuing the dollar then a stimulus package would not be necessary.

When OPEC decides to drop the dollar as its currency of choice and uses the Euro to monetize oil, look out, a very deep recession/depression will be upon us.

Well if the government wants me to purchase luxury items with that money they are out of luck as we just spent 900 dollars on heating oil. Now days, I consider staying warm a luxury. Seeing that the majority of our oil comes from other countries, I guess I just helped them!

If they want me to jump our economy they best give me more money! The rest of the money, I shall save to my 18 month old daughters checking account.
