Rakster,

When you generate your combinations in the Pirate Program (Pick 3 or Pick 4)

Just hightlight just the combinations. Right click your mouse and select Copy.

Open Excel and right-click your mouse and click Paste Special and select Text.

Now all your picks should be in 5 separate columns.

If all your picks are in 1 row/column in Excel do the following:

In Excel:

In the Main Menu select Data Text To Columns Del... [ More ]

Use a command in the Data menu called Text to columns . It presents a wizard to step through the process. You tell it to either break on certain characters or on fixed character positions.

I run the Pick 3 pirate... it generates 50 numbers, but when I cut them from the pirate and use it in a excel program I get the whole row of numbers (5 of them) instead of each number going to an individual cell. is there a way I can change this so each number has its own cell rather than all 5 in one cell?

I know there are a lot of very smart excel users here and i have learned a lot from all of them, but I keep running into unique situations...lol
