As I was reading your post I felt sympathy and yeah I understand how you feel but some of the replies IMHO were a little hard on what I think was just you venting after losing some much in so little time. When the ticket has overall odds of 1 in 5 to win something, it doesn't mean every fifth ticket is a winner and it's sad that people don't understand the odds against them. If a scratch-off game pays out 65% and has a $500,000 jackpot, about $770,000 must be wagered and lost just to payoff that one ticket.

They can call it a rip-off because they won nothing or buy another $110 worth of tickets and get ripped-off again.

TN Lottery may be a rip-off, but NOT because you drew no winners.

If a long drive could have saved that much in gas too maybe.

Plus you get maid service at hotel/motel.

Me and my boyfriend worked 12 hours on Monday,we always stop in at Pilot for coffee after a long day,just to sit and relax before the long drive home.We bought 7 10.00 scratch offs and 2 20.00 dollar scratch,not even a free ticket.....Wow,what a rip off.We could have saved that money rent us week stay at the local hotel,not have to drive so far on 12 hour days,,,ha ha
