I can't say for MM, but lately an awful lot of winning combinations have had 3 consecutive numbers in FL. Example: Thurs night pick-5 was 16-23-29-30-31. Just 2 nights ago on Tues the numbers 6-12-18-19-20 were drawn. There were 3 winners, one was a Quick Pick (Free play) 2 days before that on Sunday the numbers were 19-24-31-32-33 Two people won and both tickets purchased were QPs (Free Plays) Last week 6-7-8-23-26 were drawn.

In the 6/53 Lotto, the numbers on Sat were 1-24-25-26-42-45. The... [ More ]

Yes, I had to revive this topic.

Saturday I bought a MM ticket at the local grocery store and the numbers were 1, 8, 14, 46, 47 and 19. Then yesterday I bought a second ticket at the same store and got 18, 19, 43, 49, 50 and 33. Looking at that I figured I'd try again somewhere else so I went a little down the road and bought a third and the numbers that time were 7, 8, 21, 22, 23 and 9! You know, the only reason this came up was because I made a thread out of it. Yes Tubro the fat Panamanian god of money has a twisted sense of humor when it comes to me.

I did notice that the person in Texas who won 5 of 5 had the megaplier, and turned their $250,000 into a cool 1 million.

BTW I was turned onto Tubro from an episode of Married With Children.

Yeah, I'll bet those two are really sorry that they used the same number for the mega ball and one of the regular numbers. What are the chances that the mega ball would have the same number as one of the 9% of the regular balls that are drawn

Tonight the number 4 came up as a white ball and aMega Ball. No consecutive numbers though it did draw 4, 8, 11, 22, 30which I think is interesting. Oh and somebody won

Two things on Quick Picks

I heard years ago, in NJ, that NJ does not use all the available numbers with their quick pick selection. They infact have their state divided into sections which will not use a certain combination. This is supposed to make the Megamillion game more interesting and challenging. Remembering that the purpose of the lottery is to make money, not give it away, this made complete sense. So it's not just me. The other thing (beside the consecutive numbers) I have notice since November is, I get more numbers that the mega number is the same as a number in the line. The last time this happened, I had four lines, three had consecutive numbers and one had the mega number and a line number, that were the same. It's enough to make you pull your hair out

Funny you asked. I was going to start a thread on this very subject.

I was so angry, yesturday I decided to add just one QP to my regular numbers (since single QPs always win) but these numbers came out on MM...

42, 43, 44, 46, 51 and mega number 01.

Boy was i upset. Needless to say, it didn't win.

I know the lotto picks are random but geez

And then it came up again three drawings later. I have two sets of numbers I used for the last several drawings but aside from that, I've pretty much bought just easy/quick picks. I get consecutive numbers rather often as well, one out of two, maybe three QPs seems to have sequential numbers for me. Sometimes two picks even have had the same two numbers. But I've had less repeated numbers since I started just buying each pick seperately though.
