That's what I have alway been told but 5 is for birthday's too. if it is a man I like to play their age with the 5 9 and make it a 4 ball if it's a woman I play 5 8.

I know that it's 8 for woman and 9 for man when they have died, is it the same thing for them when they're living or on birthdays? That is the part that i'm not sure about.
