OK. Grabbing 10 quick picks of the RNG gave me 34 unique numbers. Subtracting 34 from 56, = 22.

So (very big) if all 5 of your winners come from the 22 numbers not in your typical 10 QPs then you're left with '1 in 22c5' odds.

22c5 = 26,334 combos

Well I said I would post the results.....

Congrats to all the winners this go around .... and no was not me!

Believe it or Not.....

My ten dollar quick pick for this go around had all five numbers on it (WB)....

Go figure - as I said before the previous times had no number -- this time all

five appear on this one ticket.... but NOT on the same line .... so quick pick ticket

had no wins.... So my five dollar selection ticket ... drum roll please .....

A test had been done at rec.lottery,and it shows that randonness beats human picks for the most part of time.

If you only play 10 bucks,its better to use random ones,as most jackpots are won in 10 bucks.

A mature lottery pool at least needs constant investment of 250 bucks per time for 10 rounds,and may get a second prize.

Well, I have done it -- Yesterday I purchased a ten line quick pick for Mega....

Today i purchased the 12 numbers which were missing on that quick pick

(five lines) -- i chicken out doing ten lines that way....

Friday drawing ... keep everyone informed.....

@kjs703: The hand-picked numbers will have better odds, but without knowing the game you're referring to, and how many numbers are on the no-match tickets (this will actually vary from drawing to drawing), we can't tell you what the new-and-improved odds are.

No doubt you will match some numbers that way, but will you get enough for a prize in one line?

I don't see this as a very profitable system .

I usually just pick 2 lines of numbers on my own and get 3 QP's with that. The quick picks having no influence on my picked numbers.

Well for various reasons, I have simply did 10 dollar quick picks for the last three draws.

That means I have had the lottery select my ten lines of numbers for me.

The last three draws I had no number what-so-ever ..

So based on these dismal results . I have decided to try this .

Purchase another ten dollar quick pick for the next drawing . And then

Select another ten lines by hand ensuring none of the numbers on the quick pick ticket

Are on the hand selected ticket lines
