Your absolutely correct Fja, forgot to mention the matrix being at 15/5 that year, but it definately was a sweet hit in more ways than one......

Technically speaking and to be correct, the challenge was based on a 15-5 scenario, that year. After that the matrix was changed to 12-4.

But man that was a sweet HIT

Hi,

In case you didn't already know, consider the following:

1) There are 792 combinations when you use 12 numbers.

2) The Challenge allows 4 bonus balls. Then 4 x 792 = 3168.

So, if you happen to be the one to get all 5 numbers and the bonus ball, do not not be upset that you didn't take home the actual prize for real. You would have needed to invest $3,168 on the game.
