Most I have ever won was $500 on a $20 ticket. For a $10 I've won $200. And for a $5 I've won $100. That should be a hint that higher priced tickets such as $20 have better pay outs like soothsayer said. However, it's a tough loss if you don't win.

Yes, the more cost for a ticket = higher payout with lower odds. Here in SC I play only $10 or $5 dollar scratchers.
