Rjoh i just want to make sure i don't refer her as he and he as her thats why it good to know it will be offensive if i make that mistake which will not be intentional but simply because i don't know whether they are women or men. By the way i enjoy better conversation with a woman better.

I use to figure out wether they are male or female at one time.

Read a post of a person long enough they will drop hints on their gender. Like my husband or wife. Just different things in their postings that have tell tale signs on their gender.

When I correspond with fellow LP members their gender, social class of ethnicity doesn't matter although the conversation some time may reveal such characteristics. I noted my gender in my profile but I prefer to be known as RJ of Oh.

Do you want to know the real answer to this question?

I have a service that measures and analyzes the internet traffic to this site. They say that the split is 52% female, and 48% male.

That would be for all traffic, not just members.

That is actually a very close statistic, so it's pretty much equal, with a slight edge to women.

The percentages seem like they might not be an accurate representation of the people here. Other then that. I think there might be a bit more females then males, but then I can't be sure of that.

Also Todd added the gender question on the profile list, so if you want to know if someone is male or felmale check their profile, they might have it listed there.
