Buying one ticket line in Mega Millions will lose around 60% of the time.....

So your one line will only net you any type of win about 40% of the time and the majority

of those wins will be $150 or less...

If that was how it worked the lottery would be out of business in a hurry. The overall odds of winning (anything) are about 1 in 40 which is 2.5% of the time. 97.5% of the time you won't even get your dollar back.

1 in 39.89 is not 40%. Divide 1 by 39.89. It is about 2.5%.
