I think it's $500,000 a drawing, not a week (there's three a week), but still, it is grinding its way up.

The Illinois tickets have a mesage on them, Lotto - It's Huge

The Lotto jackpot is $18.2 million and the Mega Millions jackpot (which is also on the tickets) is $96 million .

Is that how sharp the Illinois lotto thinks its players are, considering $18.2 million as huge while $96 million appears along with it?

Floridians, get ready for the same kind of nonsense.

Looking at a calendar, that's 37 drawings withou a jackpot winner, seems to be quite a few.

I know the Hoosier Lotto Pick 6 (Indiana) went either a year or over a year, but not sure if it's two weekly drawings or three, Illinoins is three, Moinday, Wednesday, and Saturday.

Bump. Still no jackpot since August 20th.

Took that long to go from $6,250,000 to $12,000,000, went up all of $200,000 since tonight since no one hit the jackpot.

With three drawings a week that's a real grind. This is what happens with a state pick 6 and Mega Millions (or Powerball) in the same state. Beware, Florida.

This game is drawn three times a week and the frequency of jackpots, and the increases in the jackpot, kind of creeps.

This is what happens to the state Pick 6 when you have MM or PB, heads up, Florida.

This is why my main play is the Pick 5, once in a while the jackpot hits a million, sure it can never come close to 5 + 1 jackpots, but hey, it sure gets hit more than 8 to 15 times a year.

No jackpot winner last night, this makes eight drawings since June 21 with one jackpot paid out.

This game used to be Wednesday and Saturday, but Mondays were added a while ago - probably trying to make up for the play that went to Mega Millions.

The last jackpot was paid out June 21, in the seven drawings since the jackpot has went from its $2 million dollar start point to $3.5 million, really creeping.

I wonder if this will happen to Florida's lottery after it joins Powerball.
