Several years ago a bunch of people played the numbers predicted in a fortune cookie and won the Powerball.This could be the same kind of thing.The only problem I see with playing these numbers is if it hits and a bunch of other folks played the same numbers,you'll have to share the jackpot with all of those other people.Personally,I don't want to share a jackpot with anyone,so I'll play my own numbers and hope that nobody else plays them,too,and I win.... Is someone buying Lottery Tickets for June 27th Drawings, because of the shorth story The Lottery written by Shirley Jackson and published in 1948?

Homer Simpson did that on Episode 19 of Season 3 DOG OF DEATH
