I'm with MaddMike (well....kinda -- I'm not in an extremely bad shape or anything -- just getting into the caution zone because odd jobs have dried up and I don't see any coming up for a bit). I might have to cut back my lotto playing myself soon at the rate things are going.

Speaking of change......I rarely have spare, loose change with me, although if someone who looked like they needed it asked and I had it, I'd probably give some loose change to them if they needed it for food or somethin... [ More ]

Had someone stop and ask me for $.95 cents yesterday.

The fella looked a little disgruntled when I said no. Ask 50 people for a buck here and there they do not need to work.

I have no idea. Probably not, but I can't imagine a stranger asking for a dollar to bet on the lottery (although Emily wrote that's happened to her, so it's possible) Sure people have asked me for money, but I don't ask What are you going to do with it? which is why I answered Maybe. It's been a long time since I've been approached by a stranger for money.

No, I don't think so. I've given money to those that wanted a cup of coffee or some food, but I wouldn't give money to a stranger to play the lottery.
