I have been collecting lottery books for the past 25+ years and there wasn't much when I started and there isn't much now.

I usually purchase my books online so I don't go to bookstores often. You can get great deals on hard to find lottery books online. I saw a Serotic book for $1.99. You can't beat that price with a stick!

Good question! Very very few,practically none at the Border's near my house. In fact, I think the only one is the Prof. Jones one which is junk in my opinion. Like you say,must not be much call for them anymore. Can't even find Robert Serotic's books which were my first introduction to the lottery. Even hard to find Serotic's online,some people ask a fortune for them on ebay. Well, if you follow the link on the left for Lottery Post Book Store, and then click on lottery fiction books, you will see it listed in the first position.

The only book I have ever found was by Professor Jones. I purchased it at a Barnes Noble, and so far I have won zip....zilch, nada from any information contained in it.

Does anyone remember a book called The Lottery by Shirley Jackson? She also wrote The Haunting of Hill House.

I have purchased several books from Borders book store and Barnes and Noble. Mostly written by a Prof. Jones. I can't say that any thing that I have read from these books have been particularly helpful. But, it's fun to try some of the workouts from time to time.

When I first started playing cash 3 - Easy Dollars was very good. You carry it in your bookstore.

Good question, my local book stores don't carry any. That's one of the reasons I created the book store link on the left -- it can be very hard to find good lottery books.

I generally agree with RJOh, but I still think there is value in buying certain books, because there are definitely ways to spend less money and usually achieve a better result.

Books about beating the lotteries aren't as popular as they once were.

When state lotteries first became popular a lot of people thought with a little knowledge they could make some money playing lotteries and there was a demand for books on the subject but time has since proved that isn't true. The only groups making money off lotteries are the states and groups running them illegally.

Does your bookstore carry any?

We have a Barnes Noble here, and in the Games section there are plenty of books on poker and casino games, and poker, and a few on horse racing, and poker....but not any at all on lottery.

Certainly makes me wonder why not.
