Track your S P Pick 3 Pairs!!!

Pay close attention to when there are few number left on the line that have not hit yet (e.g. 1 hit left on the 76 line)

This chart shows the pairs hits from 10-05 to 10-10:

Corrections: 237, 845, 362, 366, should have been crossed off on the original chart that I posted. 271, should not have been crossed off. I hope that I caught all of the corrections.

Your question is not silly. Stew12's answer is right on point (thanks Stew12 ).

In relation to Excel, there is a Pi function that you can access through the Insert Function menu. The syntax for this function is Pi()

Further development on this system

I really like how this system works for P4 even though I developed it with P3 in mind. I wanted to optimize it for P3, so... out of curiousity, I backtested S P pairs for the same period that I was tracking the picks for this thread (9/7 to 9/20).

I made pairs from the S P and S P Mirror numbers from that thread as follows:

S P 288 905 - Pairs 28 88 09 05 59

S P Mirror 248 779 - Pairs 24 28 48 77 79

I did this workout with midday and evening in mind. Remember this is a test for your state. Use the results as you see fit.

I use the various tools/tips on LP and the different states history to get the numbers. The LP P3 and P4 deflate is a very good place to start.

Over time when you work with the stats and study the trends you get a feel for the numbers. Sometimes you hit the nail on the head, sometimes you hit your thumb. It's all patience, trial and error and trying different things.

When I put the formula into Excel I did not adjust the decimal places of PI() and I got the value of 3.141592654. With that being said, I did format the results cell to return a 3 digit number which is why I got 801 when I multiplied 255 by 3.141592654. Had I not formatted/limited the cell to 3 digits I would have gotten 801.1061 (I wonder what that 1061 has been up to?)

This is a workout for All States players. The data is based on stats gathered for All States not just an individual state though I don't see any reason why data from a single state can't be used. When it comes to numbers, anything is possible.

When I get a chance I will look at CA Pick 4 to see what the numbers look like and post them here.

I will keep watching to see how this plays out. I tried something similar for the Pick 4 and I came up 3 out of the 4 digits (if my hand calculation was correct). I will do the workout in Excel and see what I come up with.

Yes, it is an interesting occurrence. I am not clear on what you mean by the last 20 numbers but I used the total of the 20 numbers that I posted in my weekly thread.

For example for the week of 8/10 to 8/16 the the numbers I posted are below. What I did was to get the sum for all of them, I then totaled all of the sums. The total of the sums is 261 and the Pi of 261 is 820.

For those of you who play All states and pick a number of selections, you may get this to work for you.

Formy P3 selections for the weeks of 8/10 to 8/16 and 8/17 to 8/23 (NewYear - New Money) I added up the sum of all of the selections. I thenPi'ed the number (in Excel). This is what happened:
