It would be an interest prize structure to only offer two ways of winning. Either miss all the balls or hit all the balls. I personally like the idea since I have a variety of theories that always miss every number so I currently win nothing. The optimist will think they can win the prize. The pessimist will think they can easily miss any number associated with the jackpot.

I don't think anybody can make a profit playing this game twice a day 7 days a week unless they really get lucky and match 9 out of 10 or hit the jackpot. In July there were 88,101 winning tickets that averaged $5 payoff but there were at least 10 $6000 winners so the average win is closer to $2 or $3. Without a $500,000 winner to raise the average win and with an overall 1 in 9 chance of winning, the average player should expect to lose $7 for each $10 they wager.

This twice a week promotion... [ More ]
