I've had this happen before, however it wasn't my first deposit, but all you will need to do is contact WU, once WU updates info in their system money will be in your account. I've NEVER known it to take this long to credit an account. Make sure you get the correct number to call from online representative, and WU agent will update info. while you are on phone with them...I agree if you were getting scammed they would not conta... [ More ]

I signed up with one of the on line lottery systems yesterday by funding my account via Western Union. As of now, 30 hours later, they are telling me that my funds are on hold because I didn't spell the receiver's name correctly. I contacted WU and made the corrections and they (the online lottery brokers) are still telling me that I am on hold. Have I been scammed out of $100?

John
