I believe dvdiva is talking about actuall cash value and not the annuity value. Right now the cash option is 78 million dollars.

Considering the high odds Megamillions hasn't had a really large jackpot since Febuary. I think the only large jackpot left this year will be the Euromillions bouns drawing on 9.26.08. After that I doubt any pot will break $170 million in cash until next year.

On Sep 12. last Friday, it was $12 million and din't get hit.

On Sep 16, Tuesday, it was $15 million and there was one winner in Ohio.

Now it's back to $12 million.

last night the mega millions jackpot was more money..now it's 12 million yet nobody won the jackpot.

Why did it go down?

and also, what is a powerball and does every state have it? ive only played super lotto and mega millions.
