Some more fun games with pairs. For each pair, find the average skip and the standard deviation. Set a skip limit for each pair equal to the average plus some fraction of the standard deviation. I'm currently using 0.7, but I feel it might be a bit too tight (still backtesting). Only pick those pairs where the current skip (draws since last drawn) is less than the skip limit.

You can do this with the Powerballs as well, but will need a larger draw history to get statistically meaningful figur... [ More ]

did you try graphics? on excel - it might help. just do the first few games - maybe about thirty or so and see if it helps.

After all that, I think my data is off! It just looks like everything has been doubled, so assume half of that shows in the charts above.

Checking back with another function, it looks like for Mega Millions the combo of 14 and 33 have only been seen on:

3/2/2007 - 14-21-33-35-51

For Powerball that same combo (14/33) has only hit on:

12/12/2007 - 7-14-33-40-55

CLUSTER numbers are those that tend to appear together in a draw. pick3 or pick 6 or mega

I have noticed that 14 is a number appearing quite often and 33 goes along with it

Likewise has anyone attempted this type of data collection?.if so pl let us have it..it will be very useful
