Say, DA that's very interesting, because I had the same thing happen to me (and the same number: 304) running it at X200 when I first got the program and wasn't getting connection to the server failed messages.

I ALSO saved the predictions, reopened it and the number was 30 .

perhaps it would be very interesting to show how you would like it to be done.

Things that need to be entered are 3 digits and a date.

Just show the easiest way and i will most certainly evaluate it, and if it looks good, even implement it.

If you are offline, you can't use live update, yes, you can update manually. But, if you want to recreate the same lottery game with a different name, you can, then import the database, very easy. Here's Excel formulas for Play 4 and Cash 3, that will convert your files for you, just change the ranges to match where your data is located.

Yes, if you save your forecast and load it in the ticket generator you will see the numbers displayed correctly.

You are wrong about updating Lotsoft. It has live update, also if you want to create a complete new lottery and then import the database. You can do that if you put the database in the right format.

I usually don't play jackpot games but decided to see what this software is capable of. I have run it for a few days and it gave it's forecast as it should until today. When it finished it gave a set of 10 numbers but 1 of them was 3 digits long.

I triple checked to make sure the problem did not lie in the drawings that I put in. It was not. Everything I put in was correct.

I think that he was doing all his work on the prediction engine and didn't do much work on other things, but I wonder how he was able to do all the testing himself, if it is so hard and slow to enter the past draws one digit at a time by hand and then enter and then clicking the draw in with the mouse, such a slow antique system, reminds me of Lotsoft, that program is also limited in that way.

Hmm, the program is very nice indeed, and will hopefully bring up some winning numbers but...

that whole 'add numbers' feature, is pretty bad implemented. It's waaaayyyyy too slow entering draws manually, and why is there no import function (from xls, csv, xml etc.)?

At least it should be able to enter the draw date automatically (perhaps a setting that specified which weekday/s the drawings take place)

That would make it so much easier to enter past drawings wouldn't you think... [ More ]

I don't like the licensing policy either,it has nothing to do weather I'm playing with profit (which is b.t.w the case now as Lottosync is doing pretty good on my 7/39, hitting twice in a row 4 from 10 with multiple prizes) or not, simply when I pay for an application I want to own it and use it whenever I want,not depending on the server or connection on my side of the fence. But we can talk about licensing until the judgment day,lets get over with it, everyone will decide on its own.

Where are you getting your information from?

I went to the Lottosync site and downloaded the demo.

I installed the demo and requested the code, was annoyed it wasn't copy and paste, but got over it.

You have to be online to open the software, once the demo is open you can drop the connection and work the program as long as you like, once closed you must be online to open it again.

I think it goes without saying a [buy it now] permantent version would be free of the online verification system. It could be like the Lotto Buster system where you have to insert the original cd-rom for the program to open.

I'm tempted to say the only reason someone would want to own a permantent copy would be because they were playing at a profit. However, there are some like me who collect lottery software and later think of new uses, like playing the numbers it doesn't pick.

Exactly. While I understand the reasoning behind, this licensing policy may be redundant to many, myself included. I don't have problems with paying for upgrades etc in due course, but I'd like a nonexpiring initial version, not linked to annoying online verification every time I run a program. Piracy is a big problem nowadays, but I guess it can be dealt in more elegant way than this.

I am personally not impressed with software that expires after 1 year. You should make people want to upgrade by offering new versions/features every year, not by crippling their software after a year. It looks like you spent a good amount of time trying to tighten up the appearance of the software, and it looks fine, but you really should re-think the licensing.

I never have had this software but it seems a little pricy, guess its quality product...nevertheless I wish one could buy a copy that never expires. Lotwin made that available too, on higher price of course but I doubt they'd gone that way if it wasn't for customers wanting a copy of their own, rather than subscription. Just my 2 c.

You can always test it against draws you already know the answer to. Delete some past draws and see how it does predicting them, try various combinations of methods so you know what settings to use when playing for real.

I don't know how often it can now get 3 out of 10 for a 6/49 game, but it won't make you rich, or Will it?

I think I purchased mine back in 2003. Back then I had windows 98 with 126 GB ram of memory on a 533 processor. Now I have a 991 mhz processor with 2000 GB ram of memory and windows XP. She will be ready to spit out the winning string of numbers.

Well... there is no app porting to Mac planned yet. (maybe in the future)

however... if you are running a mac with boot camp you should be able to run the windows LottoSync.
