The Massachusetts Lottery could call itself 'America's National Lottery . Other state lotteries only allow in-state residents to participate, the Massachusetts lottery has no such restriction, one can purchase a subscription with a simple phone call. It's a win win situation! You can also buy subscriptions as gifts, which could be a solution if you can't think of what to get someone.

honestly the odds are so bad on the mega millions that I really don't see a good reason for an even larger national lottery.

I would be so glad if the state lotteries would just simply increase their payout ratios from 50% to about 60 to 80 percent. Email your representatives regularly, though. They really should hear their people.

I think congress has enough to do with its attempt to nationalize our auto industry. Once they drive that into the ground, the Big Three will be sold off to or absorbed by foreign companies in order to avoid a total collapse of that sector. We should get this announcement by next September.

Hey there Barista! I lived in Vegas, too (1977-1993) and was there when AC opened, and when we started getting an influx of dealers from AC. They wanted to come and see Vegas and work in it.

Definitley a different breed of cat. They had good hands and could get around a layout, and handle the big action, but had no personality whatsoever, and no clue of the inner game. Hey Coin Toss, I don't like where I'm at (Delaware) I'd rather be back in Las Vegas! I don't know what DE did back when. The Only place to gamble to me is Vegas! I've been to Atlantic City 3 times now and the people there have sucked each time! I mean the dealers from the crap tables to the 3 card poker tables to the 21 dealers all have nasty attitudes/demeanor.

Well, going bywhat myturn said in the OP it seems to work in the UK.

So, hire them to run it, or hire lottery people to run it.

Way back when gambling became legal in Nevada, where did they go to get the people to run the casinos? snelling Snelling? Hardly. they went to places like Steubenville, Hot Springs, Saratoga, etc....

I'd like to see it, just sell the tickets at post offices or something similar.

Powerball was intended to be Lotto USA or at least was going to be called that, but we still have 9 or so states with no lottery at all.

I'd like to see some kind of national lotto with at least three drawings for the jackpot- the ticket costs $1 for the first drawing, and 50 cents more for each additional drawing.
