between the two of Pick3 and Pick4, yes, I like Pick3 better. I don't recall ever winning anything on Pick4 ever. Pick3 on the other hand, I have played and won more than I could possibly keep track of.

I think I have a good new alternative idea to the original post question

I think I will just start playing Pick 3 Any order, between one and four quick picks at a time for $6 each. The total cost per draw would be between $6 and $24, the odds could be as low as 1 in 42 when I play 4 nu... [ More ]

Today I tried the pick four and the clerk told me it would cost two hundred thirty dollars for 1 tickett!!!! I just about lost it. I gave him 40 and told him to give me quick picks......Duh nothing......

Needless to say, I like the pick three best

Well with the odds and prizes exactly the same for both, it's simply your opinion. There is no proving one is better than the other.

Which would you rather play ?

One $10 bet on one $50 pair, or Ten $1 numbers on pick 3 exact ?

both prizes have the same odds (1:100) and the same prize ($500) for the same cost ($10)

I sometimes wondered the same thing about pick 3 and pick 4: Would you rather play One $10 number on pick3 exact (for a $5,000 prize) or Ten $1 numbers on pick4 (for the same prize) both at the same cost of $10 and the same odds of 1:1000 .
