I have also heard rumors that sometimes the day machine is used at night and vice versa.

This is why it is hard for me to play and bet on night and day as separate from each other. For the most part I just look at the draw history of day and night combined as if it was just one list, but when playing, I usually play for at least 2 draws.

The two most important factors are consistency and transparency. Some states, like Texas, release all the details about all the pre-test drawings, so you can factor in those pre-draws along with the draw data. That is ideal.

If the lotteries did not make sure their machines were operating properly before each drawing, then people would be up in arms about all the mistakes and errors they would make during the live broadcasts. At least with a ball machine you're ensured of a fair drawing, whic... [ More ]

Omniscient, I don't see it that way. As long as the lottery officials are consistent in their practices on how the pretests are run then that is what the game will be based upon. If the lottery officials decide to veer off from their daily practices adopt a new one then you will see a definite shift in the game. that will only create another angle in which the game may be based upon. The real foul up would come if the lottery officials would change their practices drastically on a daily basis.

Kind of like a casino that has a 51% house advantage at the blackjack tables, but when your about to have a good hand, as the lottery would run it, they would reshuffle the deck a few more times to destroy your chances. Except with the lottery, your odds are already at 100's, 1000's or even millions to one right from the start. With 20 or 30 ball sets, multiple machines and predraws , the odds are even worse. Ok..thats enough outta me.. nothing I can do about it. Oh well...

I see so many of us here at LP posting their systems and taking great pride in their hard work. No one forces us to play, sure, but sometimes I just feel like the rug has been pulled out from under my feet everytime I go to fill out a lottery ticket to play using any kind of workout that either I or anyone here has created to give us some kind of advantage. Maybe I should just fill my tickets out at random or play quick picks if these are the tactics that the lottery uses. Bottomline is, there i... [ More ]

Hey all,

I read somewhere in a post here at LP where it was mentioned that before a drawing takes place, about 4 or 5 pre-draws are done to eliminate any chances of patterns or trends, etc. There are good chances that many of our numbers come out in that 1st draw from all our hard work using our systems. It's just not fair. It's hard enough as it is with the odds stacked against us, and yet they, Lottery officials, still throw a monkey wrench into the drawings to demoralize us all and to thi... [ More ]
