			<description><![CDATA[<p>I&#x27;m not sure if the numbers are generated by the local machine or the HQ server, but I do believe they are transmitted to the State HQ, not National. This is why it takes Powerball a few hours to verify with each state that there is a (or no) winner for the drawing. If all ticket information was held in one location nationally the winner results (whether there was one or not) would be available in moments.</p>]]></description>
