I track pairs that I see hit in ranges and then work on the third number to match up with them.

I usually play on what was used most if it is a pick 3 I pick 2 numbers and guess on the third........it's frequency.........and if it feels like it is due...........with pick 4 I definately go with 2 recent numbers (a pair) and add a frequent previous pair or 2 single numbers......beaudad

Depending on your state's trend. Does it use a lot of repeating hot numbers, if so for how long before seeing a cold number? I am using both hot and cold, if you're spending some money on pick 3, give yourself some chance by playing more than one ticket. Covering few hots with cold, and few colds with hot, or all cold/hot. Balance is the key, finding the normal rhythm in pick 3 will get you many hits if sticking with it.

In my quest to figure out how to win the pick 3 by playing a limited amount of numbers I have not decided what to do about this:

1) Play based on what is used most

or

2) Play based on what is due

should it depend on what your state has been doing? Whether it uses a lot of repeats or what
