That is great news but I know how you feel, getting so close to winning the jackpot--missing it by 1 digit; that has been my story so far

off by 1, 2 or 3 digits or winning a free replay, ie., just last ninght

also I try to even the odds by buying tickets at different lottery retail stores, mostly 7-11.

the prize should have been larger, i.e. over $1,000

I think the lottery should change out the payout outs for over $1,000 if you hit 4 of the 5 numbers

Congrats on the win Cindy! I hit 4/5 back when pick 5 was lotto five in 2004. It was a great feeling to watch those numbers roll from the machine. By the way... Most pick 5 style games have a $1 (free ticket) prize or no prize at all! The odds of hitting 2 numbers is like ~1:8 if memory serves me correctly. That's why the payout isn't that much but at least it's something... Again, congrats and KEEP IT UP!!!! It's been a really good month for you

Congrats on hitting a 4 of 5 tnlottodreamer! One of these days you are going to get the jackpot! I agree. that $119 seems a bit low for the payout. I am playing Mass Cash right now and a 4 of 5 prize is $250.

I agree, that is kind of low, so is the match 3 payout. They made Pick 5 too jackpot-driven. That along with a Plus feature that substantially lowers the overall payout, their games really need work. And to think that's the least of their problems.

As for your question, the Cash 5 in PA pays out about $250 for a match 4, but that's a 5/43. The 5/40 is New Jersey pays out about $500 for a match 4, as does Take 5 in NY (5/39).

Hi!! Lottery Post friends.

Last night I purchased 5 quick picks for the Tn pick 5 drawing. The Jackpot was for $ 120,000.

I had 4 out of 5 numbers. WON $ 103.00 Off the ticket, But makes me so mad to be one number off like that.

The numbers called were 8-13-15-21-31

My numbers were 2-13-15-21-31

then I also had 13-15 on another line for $ 1.00

But it just seems like second place should be a higher payout.

What kind of 2nd place prizes does your state have?
