and something that i do see is that if tomorrow Online Gaming was legal eventually the lottery will become absolete...

And once they create online gambling they will need an Steady Interest STock Exchange....

I am not talking about a free lotto here i am talking about people paying for the lottery...I feel that if you are paying at least you should have 5% saying on how it should be run...I am talking that the state will have its aggreggate money and will make its additional money 50%, plus the taxes....That's what i am talking about...I don't think capitalism got nothing to do with it for capitalism i think it involves the private sector...

Because lotteries are businesses, not charity organizations. It's called capitalism. Do you accept a paycheck from anyone? People working for the lotteries need to feed their families as well.

did you know that people join the military just for the free scholarship they offer, they are not interested in the military but just because of the scholarhip the military offers they join....I am telling you because i've heard it several times in my 2 years in the military...

I know kids age 12-14 may not want to play unless they are spur up/compel by their parents...But kids age 15/16-17 sure will want to play for that chance...You know how kids get hyped up about their favorite school they want to go...This may sound funny but i am willing to bet that even teachers in high schools, middle schools will compel students to go and play their ticket...But this will work if you make it big and you make a lot of winners each time....

i also feel they should increase the amount in speeding tickets...100 dollars on a speeding ticket is not enough, they should increase it to 400 dollars if they really want to prevent more deaths...but like how i said before, America is sadistic....

If you let teenagers do anything because they want to , you'll be opening up more than just the lottery. The idea is to wait until they are at a mature enough age where they can make responsible decisions about gambling, smoking, porn, etc. 12 is not it.

It was a bad idea six months ago and it's still a bad idea... Besides, their parents can play, there's no reason they need to either and besides there are plenty of parents who buy for or give their kids lottery tickets when they ask about it. The big thing is that thankfully, at least to some extent, gambling isn't such a big taboo as certain other things that have restrictions on it that IMO do more harm than good due to that taboo or forbidden fruit label placed on it.

Well i don't know much about the Hope scholarship or any state scholarhip sponsored by the lottery, but i don't think it will support you to go to an ivy luegua school, plus it only pays certain things it doesn't pay room and board, while with the plan i am talking it will....Plus, how many kids make it to the ivy lueague with the Hope scholarship...I remember i had the hope for 1 year because i think i had a 3.7 or 3.5 GPA that year but lost it the following year and i think they told me you ha... Pumpi I don't mean to sound rude, and you are certainly entitled to your own opinion, but to answer your question concerning my opinion...this idea is bad on so many different levels of wrong I don't know where to begin...

As for your other suggestions about lottery scholoarships...schools already do this in the form of scholarships...the government does it to in the form of grants. It costs nothing but a little time and consideration in getting your paperwork in on time and having it filled... [ More ]

So if you do the count Weekly grand of 1,000 a week for life will pay 4 kids 5 year scholarship to America's Top 50 universities....So because it is an deca-state game instead of a tri-state the price will cost 25 cents and they will play it TWICE A DAY if in fact they do follow the example of Virginia Cash5...If is more state then even better...so 365 days x 2 times a day equal = 730 x FOUR 5-year scholarship to America's Top 50 universities = 2,920 almost 3,000 teens will get a 5 year scholars... How about A lottery for teenagers that gives away a 5 year scholarship to an Ivy League School or to America's Top 50 universities...LOL...

That will surely be wonderful...That way then they can create the game twice a day everyday after it is a octa-state game or a game played in 14 states...

so it will be like the weekly grand except that it last 5 years or 6...awesome idea...
