unfortunately I have found that to be the case about half the time. Matter of fact I just got home from my local casino. I was playing multi-card keno, it was a nickel machine. I scored 2 eight number hits on two different combos and a score of 6 and 7 number hits. I spent $20 and walked away with just over $115. Oh Yeah! I saw the draw results for New York Pick 10 and counted 8 number hit! Very nice! Like I said, I've used this same combo for the last 20 years and it has yet to fail me. There are of course some cycles where I do not get any hits at all, but for the most part, it performs really well.

Well.... we got nickel and 25 cent video keno. A 5 cent bet will get you 142 nickels for 7 out of 10, 1000 nickels for 8 out of 10, 4500 nickels for 9 out of 10, and 10,000 nickels for all 10 out of 10. The quarter machines pay out about the same. These payouts are for just the minimum bet which is 1 nickel. You can bet up to 4 nickels per card with the option of playing 20 cards at a time. Quarter machines allow a max bet of $2 per card. But that can get pretty expensive really fast.

Give these numbers a try. I have been using these same sets to play keno for over 20 years now. I have yet to hit all 10 numbers, but I do quite well with the 7, 8, and 9 number hits. I use them at my local casino to play multicard video keno.
