Not sure if this is what you're looking for, but if your 1-5 was in say cell A1 and you wanted the 5-1 in cell B1 then you could enter this formula in cell B1:

=mid(A1, 3,1) - mid(A1,1,1)

this just tells it to look in cell A1 and retrieve the contents starting with the third character (which would be the 5), then add a - , then retrieve the contents of A1 starting with the first character (which would be the 1)

should pop up a 5 - 1 in cell B1

I want to get a formula that will post a pair the opposite of itself in a single cell.

Example... if my pair was 1-5, I want a formula that would still pair the numbers up but to show as 5-1 in the same cell. Does anyone know how to do this
