Yes. That is usually the rule in TTT's. However, what is considered touching varies from one system author to another.

the tic tac toe system for me anyway seems to work best i have hit 3 times already you can come up with you own placement of numbers thats very important see what works best for you i know i have im rolling in the money.

When I make my predictions for the predictions page I use the TTT with some other methods. I use Prof Hitt's book but I don't use the horizontal numbers I use the vertical numbers and right and left diagonals. I use the -/+ from the book and get 10 numbers and I also weould use the same number

I personally would go ahead and go with all 8. Many states lately have been pulling the same number (or variations of the same number) on back to back draws.

In flat creek*kid's tic tac toe thread a few people mentioned that a 'pure' tic tac toe produces 8 plays.

My question is whether that should be 7 or not, because 8 includes the last number drawn, thus implying that you're also expecting the same number to hit back to back. It happens, yeah, but don;t hold your breath - or throw a lot opf dollars at it.

Lewt's say the last draw was;

2 5 6

and you created a tic tac toe of (mo particular method, just for example)

2 3 6

1 5 4
