We seem to be bouncing around between Pick-3 and Pick-6.

When you spoke of playing a key number Pick-6 wheel for a 5 number prize I assumed you were buying a lot of tickets.

Your choice should be made based on budget, number selection quality and when you need to win.

If you don't have the money to play more then X lines per draw over the long haul, pick the best wheel you can afford that . . .

Thanks Bob! I have one more question: Is it better to play a wheel that yields a larger number of tickets (like over 10 tickets) once a week versus playing a wheel that yields only 3 tickets every day? It seems that I would have a better chance of winning playing the larger wheel.

For this game I would suggest making up 8 sets of 3 numbers each your research indicates may hit together as a block. Play these three number blocks against each other like this. These are place holder pointer numbers to be replaced with your best picks.

What wheels would you recommend? I started trying the Key Wheels for Pick 6, and I was playing the Key 5 of 6 if 6 wheel.

Here is an analysis of what numbers hit the most to the least for the WV Cash 25:

The highlighted ones are the numbers that just recently came out. Is this something I should even bother to use

The best is that mixed more big and middle wheels work together with one simple filter,to try to get most of the numbers in 12.Thats much better than using small pool wheels.

There are 210 boxed numbers not counting triples and roughly 80 draws per day across North America so every number could be drawn boxed over a three day session. Say you begin tracking boxed numbers today.

Based on the Law of Thirds: Over the next three days . . .

One third of the 210 boxed numbers will be drawn Two or more times.

One third will be drawn Once.

One third will not be drawn.

Now, in choosing which numbers to put in the wheel, this is something I've been trying to figure out. For example, I use DiamondPalaces spreadsheets on Pick 3 and 4. I helps me keep track of hot and cold numbers. There is one thing I notice happens with the pick 3: there is usually a cold number that comes out, not every time but almost every time. And with the Cash 25 (pick 6 numbers 1-25), EVERY time that I've watched it there is always a cold number in there. So I can't figure out how to narr... [ More ]

Wheels can't improve your odds of winning vs buying the same number of tickets due to the risk of not having the winning numbers on the wheel, but

can improve your odds of having prizes up to 100% when the winning numbers are among those on the wheel. Wheels can do some amazing things pulling in prizes when you do have the winning numbers on the wheel.

Exactly my thoughts. I particulary like what I call balanced wheels. Like 3if3 playing a pick 5 game. IF you get 3, you will get multiple hits.

Wheels basically do as they promise. If you use a wheel and it guarantees a 4of5 and you get four of the five numbers than you will get that prize. If you are lucky you will have that fifth number. But if you miss even one or two of the numbers in the wheel, it can screw up your chance to win anything. So basically, a wheel is only as good as the numbers you put in it. At least imo. I still like using though. Especially for Pick 3.

Pick 3 wheels Includes wheeling 4, 5, 6 or 7 numbers.
