You can win with only 2 of the 3 digits only if you are playing Front Pair or Back Pair. Of course, you only win about $50.00.

If you play box, the numbers can be in any order but you must have all 3 numbers.

If you play straight, the numbers have to come out in the exact order that they are drawn.

If you play combo, this means that you are playing the numbers as straight whatever way they come out. This ticket will cost more because there are six-way and three way

i have a program that is very good at picking 2 out of the 3 numbers for this game. my question is , can you win with a ticket in this game that only has 2 of the 3 numbers correct, and if so which type of ticket do i have to buy. such as box, combo ...... i have read the rules on the illinois lottery website but they are hard to understand
